Sullivan County Community Hospital adds Pain Management Center

Sullivan, IN-Pain Management Group (PMG) has partnered with Sullivan County Community Hospital in Sullivan, Indiana to establish a balanced pain management center. The goal of this program is to create custom care plans that address patient’s individual challenges with pain with the focus of returning the patients to their daily activities. Staying in contact with the patient’s primary care physician, Dr. Van Evanoff along with the entire staff at the pain management center care for patients’ diagnoses for the duration of their pain. The Sullivan County Pain Management Center opened its doors on January 28th, 2016 and has seen strong support from the community. The Pain Center is located within the Sullivan County Community Hospital at 2204 N. Section Street in Sullivan, IN.
Dr. Van Evanoff is the provider diagnosing acute and chronic pain. Common diagnoses are neck and back pain, including work-related injuries and sciatica; persistent pain after back or neck surgery; arthritis pain in neck or lower back; Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS); nerve damage or muscle spasm pain; shingles pain and headaches.
Dr. Evanoff creates individual care plans tailored to each patient. Care plans incorporate options such as minimally invasive interventional procedures, medication management, and other services in the community like physical therapy.
Dr. Evanoff completed his fellowship in Musculoskeletal, Spine, and Pain Medicine at the Specialists of the Carolinas in North Carolina. Dr. Evanoff is board certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in both physical and pain medicine.
